Retail Trends: Sneak Peeks & Hyde Park 1.0

Retail trends aren’t something just anyone pays attention to, but On January 1st, 2020, a new decade crept in. We had the usual fanfare of course, we always do with new year celebrations, but for the most part many of us didn’t make much of a fuss. We didn’t think about all the things that happened between 2010-2019, all the advances that were made, technologies that became part of our daily routine and lives – most of all, we didn’t think about what crazy new innovations might become part of our lives in the next ten years, and how they might impact retail trends and developments.

Trendwatching isn’t something that everyone does. There are experts for that after all – luckily for you, AQ is an expert. We’ve been monitoring retail trends – and other industry trends – since our inception back in 2001 – that’s practically two decades ago, if anyone’s counting. And now, we want to share that with our community – you. Specifically, for starters, with our Malaysian retail community – by hosting an event out of our Kuala Lumpur office that highlights, debates, discusses, the retail trends we believe will have the most impact in these next ten years.
